Per secondary sources describing the NY CDL manual/testing structure, NY DMV offers CDL Class A/B/C written knowledge tests and most endorsement tests in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Russian -- with the explicit exception of the Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsement test, which is English only. This was NOT independently confirmed against an official dmv.ny.gov page in this research pass (the official fees page fetched did not address test languages, and a dedicated language-policy page was not located/fetched). No 2025/2026 change to this policy was found, in contrast to TX and FL which dropped Spanish CDL testing in 2026 -- but given the active federal ELP crackdown, this should be re-confirmed directly against dmv.ny.gov before publishing.
