Every question cites the real regulation it comes from.
CertQuestUSA started from a simple complaint: most practice-exam sites can't tell you where a question came from. No citation, no source, just a bank of questions someone wrote and a promise to trust them. For a CDL knowledge test, an OSHA course, or a state insurance license, that's not good enough โ a wrong answer on the real exam costs a retest fee, a delayed job start, or a delayed paycheck.
So every question on the platform is built the same way: find the real regulation, statute, or official exam outline first, write the question from it, and keep the citation attached. When a state updates a fee or a rule changes, that's not a copywriting fix, it's a source we go re-check.
That discipline is also why the catalog is the size it is: 742 real exams, the largest single collection of licensing and certification practice exams available online, spanning 13 regulated categories and state-specific coverage in 51 states. Depth this real doesn't come from writing more questions faster; it comes from sourcing every one of them the same way, exam after exam.
What we cover
CDL permits and endorsements, DOT/FMCSA carrier compliance, OSHA safety training, EPA environmental certifications, food safety, HIPAA compliance, healthcare and pharmacy certification, insurance and real estate licensing, teacher certification, FAA aviation exams, and FINRA securities licensing. See the full list on the exam catalog.
What we're not
We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by any state DMV, OSHA, the EPA, FINRA, the FAA, or any licensing board. Our questions are original content built from public regulatory sources, not real exam questions from any of those bodies. We say so on every exam page, not just here.
The Compliance Risk Index
Beyond practice questions, we publish real federal enforcement and wage data behind the standards we cover โ EPA violations, FMCSA inspections, OSHA citations, CMS nursing-home deficiencies, and BLS wage data, each sourced and disclosed, nothing estimated. See the Compliance Risk Index.
