What we collect and why.

We collect what's needed to run your account, process payment, and email you what you signed up for. We don't sell your data. We don't buy data about you from anyone else. Everything below explains exactly what that means.

CertQuestUSA is operated by CertQuestUSA, the publisher of the practice exams and the Compliance Risk Index on this site (see About). Privacy questions, data-access requests, and deletion requests go to support@certquestusa.com. A person reads that inbox and answers within 2 business days. This policy applies to certquestusa.com and to emails sent from that domain, and nothing else.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from Google. We store this to identify your account and its exam history. We never see or store your Google password.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We store the subscription status Stripe reports back to us (active, canceled, plan tier) so we know what you're entitled to access.

We store which exams you've started, which questions you've answered, and your results. This is what powers your dashboard and progress tracking. It's tied to your account, not shared with anyone, and not used for anything besides showing it back to you.

If you subscribe with your email, we store that address and send you the updates you signed up for — new data, new exam coverage. Every email includes an unsubscribe path. We don't add anyone to this list who didn't submit their own email on this site.

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages get used and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether our ads led to a signup. These use cookies and collect standard web-analytics data (pages viewed, general location, device type) — not your name or exam answers. You can block this with a browser ad blocker or Google's own opt-out tools without losing any site functionality.

Google (sign-in), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (sending account and newsletter emails), and MongoDB Atlas (database hosting). Each only receives what they need to do their specific job. We don't share your data with data brokers, advertisers, or anyone else.

As long as your account exists. If you want your account and its data deleted, email us and we'll do it — see contact below.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any email. You can request account deletion any time. You can use the site without a Google account (free preview questions don't require sign-in).

CertQuestUSA is built for adults preparing for professional licensing and certification exams. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

If this changes in a way that affects how we handle your data, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We won't quietly expand what we collect without saying so here.
